On January 28th, GV Multimedia were the proud sponsors of the Adventure into Big Data event hosted by the School of Management at Swansea University. The event took place in the School of Management’s brand new building at Swansea University’s Bay Campus. The event focussed on Digital Marketing for the Tourism industry and was attended by members of Visit Wales as well as the Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism. The event utilised the brand new NEC X-Series video walls and Tannoy Q-Flex 16 PA system within the building’s atrium to great effect, displaying showreels, marketing information, workshop content and sponsors logos. The surrounding lecture theatres were also utilised for the various presentations and workshops throughout the day and made use of the comprehensive presentation facilities. In both cases the core of the system used Crestron Digital Media.
Conference Director, Professor Terry Stevens said "GV Multimedia were the perfect partners in helping us deliver a first class event in the School of Management on January 28th 2016. We were entrusted to organise and host Wales’ first ever national digital tourism marketing conference. Speakers from 7 counties and 150 delegates from Welsh Government, Visit Wales and the tourism industry from across Wales gathered to inspire and be inspired. At the heart of this event was a requirement to deliver a faultless technology platform and that is exactly what GV provided...plus the added benefits of experienced, unflappable, technicians with an eye to detail. Diolch yn fawr iawn. Thank you GV."
