On 11th July, the GV Multi-media team attended an incredible technology showcase hosted by Midwich and their True Colours division. The exclusive event saw the GV team presented with a vast array of technological solutions including Exterity IPTV systems, Iiyama touch screen solutions, tvONE solutions and Atlona control systems among other products.

GV once again attended the SCHOMS Annual Conference on Wednesday 18th June. This year, the event was hosted at University of Exeter and included an exhibition in the Great Hall that saw integrators and the world's top AV manufacturers in attendance. GV shared a stand at the show alongside JM Lecterns and LifeSize. JM used the opportunity to show off their stunning Alpha and Graduate ranges while LifeSize presented their impressive range of videoconferencing solutions. Other manufacturers showing off their latest products included TeamMate, Mediasite, Top-Tec, Sony, Panasonic, AMX, Crestron, Extron and Kramer to name a few.

American audio equipment company Harman has signed a deal with The Duchossois Group to acquire control and automation systems company AMX for $365 million.

The acquisition will see Harman expand into new territory thanks to AMX's firm reputation as a world leader in control system development.

The South West team has completed more projects as part of the branch’s continuing work at Cardiff University.

Sales Manager Steve Grimes' recent project saw the team provide an excellent series of solutions to the University's John Percival building.
