University of West London - Paragon Campus-
Following the new build of their prestigious Paragon Campus, University of West London (formerly Thames Valley University) needed design and installation of audio visual products within 36 teaching rooms and digital signage across each of the 11 floors within the building.
GV Multi-media needed to integrate into the contractor’s project plan to ensure that systems were delivered within the agreed timescales before teaching started in September.
Hardware solutions included Procon control systems, Smart interactivity, Pendax rail systems, custom design teaching desks, LCD projectors and digital signage.
Each room had a common delivery platform and was designed for ease of use, familiarity and the ability to switch between a variety of media resources. In support of the equipment, a room management system was also provided to facilitate the central management of rooms. All of the systems were designed so that future upgrades can easily be integrated.
Project management was key to ensure all deadlines were met for the start of teaching in September. A close relationship with the main contractor and project plan integration was vital given the tight deadlines involved.
GV Multi-media utilised major manufacturers’ skills from Panasonic, Pendax and Dalen to deliver this project swiftly and efficiently.
