GV Exeter are delighted to announce some changes among the sales team. Steve Grimes has moved from his role as Sales Manager into a new position as Business Development Manager for the branch’s entire area. His new role will focus on developing new accounts and opportunities which will be fed to the team’s account managers.

Today saw GV Multimedia’s Coventry team offer their congratulations to Elaine Sanderson on her retirement. Elaine has served the Midlands team as Office Manager for the past 9 years, offering support to all Project Managers as well as giving excellent after-sales service to GV’s valued customers.

Elaine has always enjoyed travelling to Spain and the US on holiday and is taking the chance to broaden her horizons for Christmas with a well-earned trip to Thailand this coming Monday.

The entire GV would like to take the opportunity to thank Elaine for her years of service and wish her all the very best for the future.

Congratulations, Elaine!

Friday saw GV Multimedia’s Exeter branch give a fond farewell to Installation Administrator Tony Warren.

After eight years with the company, Tony is set to move to the North Devon coast with his wife Christine to enjoy a well-earned retirement where he will indulge in his hobbies of photography and gardening.

During his time at GV, Tony ran the busy installation department and controlled stock movements as well as carrying out logistics, scheduling and looking after the team’s engineers.

The GV team would like to take the opportunity to thank Tony for his years of dedicated service and wish him and Christine all the very best for their retirement and their new home.

The GV Multimedia team would like to take the opportunity to extend congratulations to Kim Liddle who celebrates 25 years of loyal service with the company. Kim was presented with her service award by Company Chairman Brian Abrahams and Managing Director Lilian Cutting in the elegant Wynn Hotel in fabulous Las Vegas.

Kim has over 25 years of experience in the AV industry. She started off her career at Tyne Video where she worked for ten years before moving to Greenham Video in 1991. She started as Internal Sales then progressed to being an External Sales Rep where she covered the North East and Scotland while based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. Kim was later promoted to look after Gateshead, Manchester and Middlesbrough. Her Greenham branch later moved to Stockton-on-Tees and, in 1999, she relocated to Aldridge branch in the West Midlands.

Two years later, the management buyout of Greenham Video saw the birth of GV Multimedia Ltd. For Kim, this brought a change of job title to Operations Director and a move of branch to Tamworth. Tamworth branch moved to Lutterworth for a number of years before relocating once again, in 2015, to their larger, current premises in Coventry - featuring a new Sales area, workshop and warehouse.

Kim’s leadership has been instrumental to her branch’s growth over the years. On top of her being responsible for winning many of her area’s biggest contracts, Kim is also responsible for managing the company's important ISO accreditations.

Congratulations, Kim!

The whole GV Multimedia team would like to extend their congratulations to Jain McGarty who recently celebrated 20 years at the company.

Jain started in the summer of 1995 at Greenham Video in Astley as an internal sales support. Jain’s initial duties included having to look after the branch’s AV bench engineer and schedule repairs and call outs. As the business progressed and they started to carry out installs for customers, her focus was shifted to that side of the business.

In 2000, Jain was promoted to Manchester’s Branch Manager. With much of GV’s business being in system design and install, Jain co-ordinates the engineering team and runs the North West office where she oversees the company’s operations within the region and leads a team of eight.

Jain said, “I can’t believe its 20 years since I started and 15 of them in the same position at the Manchester office, as they say time surely flies when you are having fun!”

Congratulations once again, Jain, on this fantastic milestone.
