Congratulations to Hounslow’s Lee Van Niekerk and Michal Barta who’ve been promoted to Technical Projects Director – London & The South and Technical Projects Manager, respectively.

Meanwhile, Coventry’s Matt Price has also been promoted to Technical Projects Director – Midlands.

The GV team would like to offer congratulations to all and wish them all the very best in their new positions.

GV Multimedia has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework for the provision of RM6103 Audio Visual Products, Services and Solutions – Lot 5. CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2017/18, CCS delivered £354 million in commercial benefits including savings for central government, and £247 million for the wider public sector - helping to deliver world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers. This framework is designed to provide best value and service to CCS's public sector clients.

After seeing substantial growth from existing customers and having secured new clients, GV Multimedia’s Exeter team finally outgrew their home at Ulysses Park this year. Requiring bigger warehousing and technical facilities, the team has settled in at their new branch at The Omega Centre – just a few hundred metres away from their old branch and therefore maintaining their proximity to the M5 and strong transport links.

We are pleased to announce that GV Multimedia has been made an Authorised Device Reseller (ADR) for the Microsoft Surface Hub, meaning that we are one of the few companies within the UK that are able to sell this incredible product and call ourselves an official Microsoft Partner.

Microsoft Surface Hub is an all-in-one multi-touch collaboration device featuring on-board apps for effective teamwork. It is available in 84” and 55” varieties and offers advanced touch capabilities, Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft Office, and Skype. Information on the product will be available on the website in due course. Please contact your local branch for more information in the meantime.

On Wednesday 8th February at Integrated Systems Europe, GV Multimedia’s Chairman Brian Abrahams and Managing Director Lilian Cutting announced that Kristian Cutting has been appointed to the role of Deputy Managing Director with immediate effect.

Kristian joined GV Multimedia in 2004 after having been appointed as a General Manager of City Service – a janitorial subsidiary company of Greenham Trading. Moving into the role of Account Manager at the Hounslow branch, Kristian soon contributed to a large increases in turnover and profit. He was also a driving factor in the enhancement of the branch’s technical knowledge via the appointment of various Project Managers. Having dedicated time to improving GV’s sales approach and tendering process, Kristian’s influence quickly benefited the rest of the company – in addition to Hounslow branch.

As a result of Kristian’s success, he was promoted to the role of Sales Director in 2013 where he continued to improve the company’s sales processes while maintaining his valued existing customers as well as acquiring new business. The announcement of Kristian’s promotion came during GV Multimedia’s annual gala dinner held at Amsterdam’s prestigious WestCord Fashion Hotel in front of 130 customers, suppliers and colleagues.

The entire GV Multimedia team offer their congratulations to Kristian on his well-deserved appointment.
