Last week saw the GV Multimedia team once again attend Integrated Systems Europe held at the Amsterdam RAI over the 9th – 12th February. Hosting a number of GV’s valued customers, ISE saw some fantastic exhibitions from the world’s top manufacturers of audio visual equipment.

The Maverick team welcomed GV’s team and customers to their Tiki Bar themed stand where they demonstrated the impressive capabilities of the Microsoft Surface Hub – a versatile, cloud connected Windows 10 device that boasts the simplicity and consistency of a custom surface display. The large interactive touchscreen offers 100 points of multitouch as well as a host of features to aid interactivity and collaboration.

In Hall 1, Epson impressed with their latest range of laser installation projectors and offered huge insight into the benefits of Colour Light Output. They also showcased the super-bright 12,000 lm EB-L25000U projector as well as their projector mapping technology which they displayed using an F1 car.

GV’s party was also welcomed by Sony. The stand played host to a number of eye-catching solutions including super-sized laser projection inside The DOME that formed their jaw-dropping centrepiece. The stand also saw their team showcasing other laser solutions as well as edge blended projection and 4K content over IP. They also took GV on a tour of their versatile Vision Presenter platform that allows users to display content from a number of sources, including 4K video, PowerPoint slideshows and live camera feeds, to create dynamic presentations.

Panasonic also showed the team and its guests around their stand – showcasing a huge array of impressive solutions including laser, lamp-free and ultra-bright projection, entry level display panels and video wall solutions. They also presented an impressive curved, edge-blended projection example.

Elsewhere some of the most eye-catching displays included LG’s stand. Front and centre were LG’s stunning OLED displays which featured not only incredibly thin double sided panels but also large curved varieties as well. In addition to their fantastic OLED panels, they also showcased a vast video wall, waterproof outdoor displays, 4K panels and even transparent LCD panels that were demonstrated using refrigerators.

As has been the case for the past few years, one of the highlights of the trip was undoubtedly GV’s gala dinner, once again hosted at the fantastic WestCord Fashion Hotel. Preceded by drinks and canapes at the SKYY Bar, the event saw GV host some of their valued customers and suppliers to a spectacular buffet. Once again proving to be a hugely successful, the meal was enjoyed by all and bolstered its growing reputation as a fantastic event due in no small part to the hospitality of Brian Abrahams, Lilian Cutting and the GV team.

The group would like to extend a huge thank you to our valued customers that joined us for the trip to the Dutch capital as well as the suppliers that joined us for the gala dinner and the exhibitors that welcomed us to their stands.
